We offer Titanium Reducers
As butt weld fittings these fittings fall under the specification ASTM B-363. Titanium Reducers are intended to allow for a change in pipe size to meet hydraulic flow requirements of the system, or to adapt to existing piping of a different size. Reducers are usually concentric but eccentric reducers are used when required to maintain the same top-or bottom-of-pipe level. Eccentric reducers are often used at pump connections to prevent cavitation. Both are available as titanium butt weld fittings in the normal pipe schedules. Normally reducers are supplied with the bell shaped configuration familiar in other materials. This is usually achieved by spinning, forging or machining from bar stock. Sometimes reducers may be offered as a formed cone. Care should be taken to be sure that the cone meets the requirements of the application.
