Titanium reinforced outlets are commonly referred to ‘O-lets which is a trademark of Bonney Forge. Titanium Flow Products distributes most configurations of these products. They are provided by shops experienced in the manufacture of these products. The governing specification is MSS SP-97 . The titanium used is usually ASTM B-381 which is the forging specification or B-348 Bar & Billet.
When specifying ‘O-lets the buyer must specify the “RUN” which is the pipe to which the branch is attached, the outlet size in pipe size and the bore in addition to other specifications.
